Kalamunda Afternoon Service - Crew Comments

Troy Wilson - Car 85: "We were running on three cylinders yesterday and were still able to hold onto 10th outright so we were hoping to come out and push today...so to get a flat tyre on the first corner of the first stage was devastating. We lost three minutes so basically today was just all about having fun and I tell you what we're achieving that it's just awesome."

David Moir - Car 11: "It's going great, we haven't had any drama's and have been beating our times from last year so no complaints."

Barry Oliver - Car 72: "It's absolutely terrific. Kalamunda is great, pretty quick and we had a fantastic run over Zig Zag. We made up 5 seconds on our second run over Zig Zag and 9 seconds on the second run through Kalamunda. We'll just try and keep it straight and nail the speed zones in the next stage to reduce our time as much as possible. We've never run John Forrest in reverse so we're looking forward to the challenge."

Tony Robson - Car 74: "We're going a little bit slower today but we'll see how we go this afternoon. Still a long way to go in the event."

David Bartlett - Car 22: "It's going very good we've beaten our times from last year and the weather is brilliant. It's nice to be able to see what's left and what's right after the rain last year."

Paul Summers - Car 10: "We've been struggling with a slippery brake pedal all day but we've been to the Kalamunda Liquid Surf store and bought some skateboard deck and that should fix it. We're loving the new car and just enjoying the experience of breaking it in."

Chris Wilson - Car 62: "Our day is going really well. The last few stages the steering wheel has been wobbling around a bit so the crew are just working on that now so I'll feel better when I know it's not going to fall off. We're having a ball though, what a great day."
